First, it examines the distinction between employees and independent contractors, and the test for determining the difference between the two. Second, it considers key provisions in employment contracts and the effect of altering a contract after it has already been signed. Lastly, it explains the unique employment relationship dental hygienists enter into with corporations, rather than the dentists with whom they work.
