Student membership may be granted to a student enrolled in an entry-level dental hygiene program or to a dental hygienist not holding an active registration to practice who is enrolled full-time in a post diploma program. Once you have registered with the CDHO or are legally eligible to practice in any other province in Canada you automatically receive the professional (malpractice) liability insurance coverage of up to $ 5 million aggregate until December 31st of such calendar year. The fee is FREE.
